To many people, hearing the sounds of the pipes off in the distance conjures up many images in our minds.....a lonely piper on a cliff playing to the colors of a beautiful setting sun.....the sight of children lined up along the streets waving flags as the reverberations of the pipes and drums echo between the buildings....and sadly, to some, the memories of a fallen comrade. Yes, the pipes are all of these. They are steeped in tradition and bring a charge of emotion to our hearts.
